Western Japan’s quadrennial show on industrial furnaces, thermal technology, equipment, opens in less than a month

Thermal Technology 2019, the exhibition on industrial furnaces and equipment sponsored by the Japan Industrial Furnace Manufacturers Association, is going to be held in less than a month’s time, starting from 17 – 18 October 2019 at the Knowledge Capital Convention Center, Osaka, Japan. Thermal Technology is the only show in Western Japan which covers the field of industrial furnaces and related technology, one of the key industries in the region. Entering its fourth edition, the show hosts 98 exhibitors from eight countries covering the latest products and technologies in the industry.

Special seminars and product and technology presentations by exhibitors are also held.

Mr Taro Kobayashi, Chairman of fair organiser the Japan Industrial Furnace Manufacturers Association commented: “Growing in influence, Thermal Technology has moved location to central Osaka for the 2019 edition and increased the number of booths to nearly double the number of the previous show. In addition, the symposium, concurrent seminars and special product and technology presentations by exhibitors are full of engaging content and industry intelligence. The show will contribute to the expansion of business opportunities in the industry by spreading new products and technologies to the next generation.”

The 2019 show will feature a number of concurrent seminars and special product and technology presentations by exhibitors, each of which will highlight the very latest trends and issues across the industry. Forecasting the impact of new technologies on Japan, a seminar by Mr Jiro Shinbo, a famous news caster, will be held at 13:30pm on 17 October. In addition, Mr Hiroshi Wakai, an executive officer of Subaru Corporation, and Mr Masahiko Matsuhashi, President & CEO of SOM will talk about flying cars on 18 October.*

Thermal Technology aims to attract a broad spectrum of visitors to the show, to provide a gathering of the entire spectrum of industrial furnace stakeholders. This includes distributors, agencies, universities, research institutes, students, government administrations, associations, embassies, and a number of other related industries.
